Kierren Horne
A Year 9 student, Kierren Horne performed his rendition of 'Ain't No Sunshine' at the Soundcity Showcase, CBSO Centre on Tuesday 23rd March 2010.
After impressing judges during the regional event, which was hosted by our school for the first time this year. Kierren went on to serenade the audience with his version of this classic song, at this final event.
Kierren took great command of the song perfoming his own arrangement and improvising certain vocals lines, drawing the audience in with his expression and his undoubtedly warm and pleasant vocal tones.
A fantastic performance by Kierren.
Kierren will be performing at the Glebe Carnival on 10th July 2010 along with other performers from our school.

Nicholas Mbewe
A Year 9 student, Nicholas has successfully been selected as part of the North Birmingham Athletics to compete at Alexander Stadium on Saturday 12th June 2010.
This student is very dedicated to training outside of school to further his ability and this is certainly paying off.
We wish Nicholas the best of luck and will update on his performance.
