Welcome
To The International School and Community College

I am pleased to introduce to you The International School and Community College, East Birmingham. A
school for over 1,000 pupils, including a thriving Sixth Form.
Work will begin this year on transforming the learning environment as a Phase One School in Birmingham's Building Schools for the Future Programme.
The remodelling will be completed by the end of the 2010/2011 academic year and we will have a school suitable for 21st Century learning.
Examination results are improving rapidly and the school is becoming increasingly popular. The Teaching and Support Staff are committed to providing a supportive, stimulating and challenging environment where all students are encouraged to fulfil their potential.

STUDENT FEEDBACK
Better behaviour, enjoyable lessons

During the 2008 Ofsted Inspection, the Inspection team asked ISCCB students about the school.
The inspectors were informed that "the Head Teacher and his senior leaders have significantly improved the school in the last two years."
The students also noted the improved
classrom behaviour and that they feel safe and enjoy coming to school. They said that they enjoy lessons and that there is a range of interesting activities.
The Inspectors reported that the students make a good contribution to the community, participating in a range of charity work and in supporting the elderly.
